AsianCitiesAdapt

AsianCitiesAdapt - Impacts of Climate Change in Target Cities in India and the Philippines and Local Adaptation Strategies - is a project that brings together science and policy in order to identify the impacts of climate change and to develop concrete local adaptation strategies in four Indian cities as well as four cities in the Philippines.

The project, running from February 2010 to August 2013, is coordinated by the ICLEI European Secretariat located in Freiburg, Germany.

AsianCitiesAdapt is part of the International Climate Initiative.
The Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety supports this initiative on the basis of a decision adopted by the German Bundestag.
